We are looking for a Strong Junior System Administrator who will become a part of our talented team.
We are looking for:
- 2+ years of commercial experience in the same position
- Hands-on experience with physical networking, connecting the wires, configuring network equipment, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi access points
- Understanding builds PC laptops and the ability to fix failures
- Installation, setup, and troubleshooting of macOS, Linux (Ubuntu), and Windows OS
- Basic knowledge of Linux systems management (distributions, Apache/Nginx, firewall, SSH, network, etc.)
- LAN: WAN, DNS, DHCP, IP, RDP, VLANs, VPNs - understanding and ability to set up
- Basic experience with Google Workspace or Active Directory
Will be a plus:
- Practical skills with at least one of the System Virtualisation (Manage Proxmox / KVM, Docker)
- Basic understanding CI/CD processing
- Basic understanding with UniFi platform
- Basic experience with at least one database management system (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
- Basic experience with VCS (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Users support, resolving incoming technical issues in a friendly and client-oriented way
- Support of different corporate programs and systems
- Upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware
- Maintaining networks and network stuff
- Oversee installation, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of LAN hardware and software
- Set up and maintain video security stuff and network (Hikvision, UniFii protect)
- Providing PC (macOS, Linux) services, including setup, configuration, repair, upgrade, and asset management (Snipe IT)
- Maintain and enforce security policies
- Maintain records of access permissions, software subscriptions
